Disable error reporting

  1. click on Start
  2. click on Control Panel

  3. *On the Control Panel page
  4. click on System

  5. *On the System Properties page
  6. Click on advancedAdvanced
  7. Towards bottom right click on the Error Reporting

  8. *On the Error Repoting page
  9. click in the Radial button(circle) Disable error reporting
  10. click in the square But notify me when critical errors occur
  11. Click [OK] [OK]

Disable Windows Messenger POP UPS


Windows 2000
Click Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> Administrative Tools->Services
Scroll down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK

Windows XP Home
Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel
Click Performance and Maintenance
Click Administrative Tools
Double click Services Scroll
down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK
